pcbtools.xyz is a free tool directory for PCB designers. We respect your privacy and collect only what's necessary to provide our services.

What We Collect

• Account data: When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your email, name, and profile picture.
• Usage data: Pages visited, calculators used, and feature interactions — anonymized and aggregated.
• Cookies: Session cookies to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate your account and maintain sessions
• Save your preferences and calculation history (if logged in)
• Improve our tools based on aggregate usage patterns
• Send important service updates (rare, no marketing spam)

Third-Party Services

We use these services to operate pcbtools.xyz:

• GitHub OAuth: For authentication only. We don't access your repositories.
• Google OAuth: For authentication only. We don't access your Drive or email.
• Coolify/PostgreSQL: Self-hosted database for account and app data.

Data Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard. Anonymized usage stats may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

• Export your data
• Withdraw consent (by logging out or deleting account)

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, secure session tokens, and follow industry best practices. OAuth means we never see or store your passwords.
